kNOw MORE - Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month
February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month (TDVAM). Throughout the month we will be sharing resources to help educate the community about a variety of topics. We have created a TDVAM Resource Guise and Daily Activity Calendar.
Our goal is to raise awareness and provide education to as many middle and high school students as possible about healthy relationships and the importance of recognizing the signs of dating abuse.
During Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, the community has a powerful opportunity to use available resources to spark important conversations and spread awareness. Schools, local organizations, and online platforms offer materials such as informative brochures, videos, and toolkits that can be shared through social media, community events, and youth programs. By organizing workshops, discussions, and awareness campaigns, we can help teens, parents, and educators understand the signs of dating abuse and how to build healthy relationships.
Sharing these resources opens the door to conversations that can empower young people to speak up, seek help, and support one another. Let’s use this month to create safe spaces for dialogue, educate our community, and spread the message that healthy relationships start with respect. Together, we can make a difference!
